Longer Front Stop Blocks
To properly space the camper from hitting my taillights when I was loading it, I always had to put a 1 x 8 between the
rubber bumpers that came with the camper and the front of the truck bed. It would have a tendency to fall over and it
was just an extra step to avoid. So I manufactured a couple of stop blocks from UHMW polyethylene plastic. The
purchased blocks measured 2 ½” x 3” x 8”. Then I counter bored the screw holes so that I could use the original
stainless steel hardware. Rounded over the edges and now the camper stops before it hits the taillights. One extra step
into the trash pile.
