1. Have: propane full, shore power available, city water hooked up, drain station nearby, fully charged battery
2. Inspect roof for properly sealed components
3. Inspect windows for fit and properly sealed
4. Inspect entry doors for alignment and gasket engagement all around
5. Inspect compartment doors for seal engagement and alignment
6. Understand sewer area valves and fittings
7. Understand TV connections
8. Understand propane regulators and do a leak check
9. Sight down side of camper for any bulges or depressions
10. Understand awning operation - Inspect mounting points for the support arms
11. Inside: Inspect fit and finish,
12. Inspect cabinets / drawers for proper operation and alignment
13. Operate all lights - check all outlets - check proper operation of any GFCI outlets - check all outlets
downstream of GFCI outlet
14. Blinds for proper operation
15. Counter tops -caulking
16. Operate all windows
17. Understand about shore power and how to connect
18. Hook TC up to generator and check for proper operation both 12 volt and 110
19. Understand proper operation of the converter, a/c circuit breakers, DC fuses - make sure there is a written list
of loads connected to each fuse
20. Check operation of water pump: turn on water pump - should shut off after a few seconds, turn on faucet
and pump should kick back on and then shut off after pressure restored (make sure pump is quiet)
21. Hook up to city water and Check connections
22. Fill sinks - toilet - shower to overfill and Check for leaks
23. Test water heater on propane and a/c - Understand operation of water heater and bypass valves for
winterizing - confirm hot water at various sinks
24. Understand operation of thermostat and furnace -
25. Check operation of a/c unit - learn how to clean filters
26. Understand and Test carbon monoxide and smoke detectors
27. Understand operation of refrigerator (fridge recall - Check serial numbers see if affected.) run on a/c and
propane - Check to make sure drain line is positioned properly
28. Understand TV antenna operation
29. Check operation of air vents
30. Understand and Check operation of propane stove - verify that there is enough propane flow to Operate the
fridge, water heater, and all the burners
31. Prepare a meal in the kitchen - no better way to Test the facilities than to actually use them
